The rafters on the lower pitch are in. A few more go up this morning, and those are adult work because of the ladders.
One design question is still open: whether the soffit runs square straight back, or gets cut on an angle. The angled look is winning. It is the kind of detail nobody notices when it is right and everybody notices when it is wrong.
The electrical tent opens today, and every Scout who comes through can run the Passport program. The circuit is simple enough that the whole team is comfortable walking a Scout through it, which matters because Brian, who has run electrical all week, heads out today. First rule before anyone touches a wire: make sure the breaker is off.
The day's targets are clear. Finish the electrical, get the last rafters up, complete the final sheeting, and knock out the special project. Patrick also has a set of letters to get down and finish this morning.
