We are under thunder and lightning this morning with the rain coming down.
The plan shifted with the weather. Instead of siding and trim outside, we moved to wall insulation and interior shiplap with the youth as they arrived. There is always work waiting under a roof.
Then the weather won out. Program hit a full shutdown for the lightning, so we will lose a few hours today.
You work the plan until the sky tells you otherwise.
That is the through line of this whole program. The achievement is not a box checked on a requirement sheet; it is what these Scouts are learning right now, with tools in their hands, on a real build. Reading a plan, framing a wall, hanging a board straight. That sticks, long after the rain clears.
