The Hope Legacy Trailer is coming together. We feel a little behind, between material delays and the weather, but the finish line is in sight.
Inside, about three fifths of the shiplap is left, plus trim, flooring, and the final electrical. Outside, the roof cap goes on, then vinyl siding, metal wrapped around the corners, and the back deck and stairs get built out. The crew on site could close that whole list by lunch.
There is a good problem standing in the way of that, and it is worth naming. Too many untrained hands slow the pace. That is not a complaint; it is the point. We are here for the Scouts. Exposure, teaching, and training come first. The trailer comes second.
It will get done. Sleep is for the weak. This trailer will be finished and the site broken down before closing ceremony tomorrow.
